National Lottery Community Fund (Scotland) — Spring Has Sprung at Shorelark!

After the long winter months, there is nothing quite like the arrival of spring. Our latest National Lottery Community Fund (Scotland) watercolour sessions felt like the perfect celebration of the season!

With the world gradually waking up, we celebrated by painting 'snow piercers' bursting through the mud. From blossom to the birds along the coastline, we've covered it all at our community watercolour cafes both in the studio and out and about in the community halls across East Lothian.

It always makes me so happy to see the community come together in creativity, particularly as the lighter evenings and warmer days start to appear. These sessions are a chance to pause, breathe, and enjoy the simple pleasure of art-making in good company.
