Walking in a Winter WATERcolour Land!
That’s a WRAP for another fabulous Festive Watercolour session at Gullane Recreation Hall. What a joyous and bustling gathering it was!
The hall was filled with the warm spirit of the season as families and friends of all ages came together for this intergenerational event. The hall buzzed with creativity and laughter as attendees created many festive watercolour studies and cards.
From charming robins and elegant wreaths to whimsical snowmen and twinkling trees, the room was soon adorned with an array of loose, atmospheric winter scenes. It was wonderful to see the diverse range of artistic interpretations, each piece capturing the essence of the holiday season uniquely.
Adding to the festive ambience, we indulged in the tradition of making wishes on mince pies and listened to a playlist of holiday tunes. Combining art, music, and shared traditions created a magical atmosphere that embodied the spirit of the season.
These community sessions continue to be a highlight for us, bringing people together and fostering a sense of connection through creativity. The Festive Watercolour session was no exception, leaving us with beautiful artwork and fond memories to carry into the new year.
We're looking forward to many more such gatherings! Come and be a part of our creative community – we can't wait to see what festive magic we'll create together in 2024!
